BSN and HIS Forge Transformative Partnership for Action Learning MBA in Algeria

Cape Town, 29 November 2023 – Business School Netherlands (BSN), a global leader in business education, is pleased to announce a strategic collaboration with the Higher Institute of Science (HIS) in Algeria. Thanks to ground preparation done by its service provider Action Learning Institute, This partnership marks a significant step in expanding BSN’s international reach and bringing its acclaimed Action Learning Master of Business Administration (MBA) programme to the heart of Algeria.

Founded by the visionary Dr. Taha Kouzi, the Higher Institute of Science has become a beacon of academic excellence in Algeria. Dr. Kouzi’s commitment to bridging the gap between university and real-world application aligns with BSN’s educational philosophy. Dr. Kouzi expressed his enthusiasm for the collaboration, stating, “This partnership with Business School Netherlands is a significant step towards providing our students with a transformative educational experience. Together, we aim to seamlessly integrate learning into practice, addressing the diverse needs of various sectors through the transformative power of Action Learning.”

BSN, operating as an international business school since 1988, is dedicated to creating a global Action Learning community of executives, entrepreneurs, and managers. Committed to excellence and innovation, BSN provides high-quality Action Learning MBA and management training courses, accredited by various institutions and adhering to international standards.

The AL Institute, led by Dr. Mohamed Yacine, played a significant role in establishing Action Learning in Algeria, a teaching methodology that involves small groups addressing real problems. This approach is at the core of BSN’s strategy, and participants, ranging from talented managers to professionals, can develop personal, management, and leadership skills through it. The methodology involves applying theoretical knowledge to real-world scenarios, which fosters creative and successful strategies to tackle challenges. Dr. Yacine shared his thoughts on the impact of Action Learning on Algerian managers and corporations. The in-person, Action Learning MBA programme, which will be offered in both French and English at HIS, is scheduled to commence in January 2024 with registration opening in December 2023.
