Quality of our tutors and professors

We firmly believe that the mere absorption of knowledge – also known as the tradtional way of learning – is completely outdated. The Business School Netherlands philosophy when it comes to management education is that one should learn by doing. This approach requires a different effort and level of quality: not only from the student, but also from the tutor.

To help our students become better managers we work with professors and tutors who are true experts, and most definitely not only from their theoretical experience, but even more so from their wealth of practical experience. Like our students, they too are confronted with managerial dilemmas on a daily basis. Finding a tutor at Business School Netherlands who is academically skilled yet has no practical experience is like looking for a needle in a haystack. Would you take driving lessons from an instructor who had never driven a car?

We don’t do monologues either. So much better to inspire and interact. Tutors and students engage in dialogue about (the impact of) developments in their field of expertise; think about how to approach dilemmas and come up with the right questions that should be asked. All serving our common goal: for our students to become the best managers there are out there.

Our tutors coordinate the programme and assignments continuously, so as to ensure theory and daily practice are in constant contact.
