International MBA - Local Delivery Programme Outline

Phase I
Kicks off with a 3 day face-to-face conference in Kigali, Rwanda.
This Start Up workshop is filled with the teachings of the Action Learning Methodology, understanding of the Rules and Guidelines of the programme, an introduction to the EBSCO library, Research Methodology and the structure of an Action Learning Project.
The outcome of Phase I of this programme will be an Organisational Analysis and an Action Learning Assignment.

Phase II
Starts with a preparatory period online,  following  which students will travel up north to the BSN Buren Campus in The Netherlands for 6 days to attend the Marketing Management and Strategic Management  workshops.
The management disciplines that will  be  covered  once back in Rwanda are Operations Management, Financial Management, Human Resources Management, and Information Management.
Each of these disciplines are divided into 4 subset meetings held locally and facilitated by a local or online coach.
The outcome of Phase II of this MBA programme are 6 high quality Action Learning Projects .

Phase III
The student  undertakes a  Masters project , which includes a dissertation .
 
The total duration of this programme is 24 months.

Profile

- You are a business manager or you hold a trainee manager post
- You have completed a Bachelor / First Degree or equivalent
- A recommendation letter of the applicants employer is required

For non-native English speakers a TOEFL or IELTS language test is required. The minimum pass mark for TOEFL is 79 and IELTS 6.0.
Exemptions can be considered should you have successfully completed your BA degree in the English language.

Exemption
Exemption will be made to those with substantial professional experience equivalent to first degree education.
