MBA programmes at Business School Netherlands are based on inspiring workshops. During these workshops, the student will be exposed to challenging, fresh topics within the various management disciplines. Thanks to the involvement of all participants, this approach exceeds the quality of traditional lecturing.

There is no need for the student to leave his/her desk to find out what the most recent researchers are publishing in the student’s field of interest. Whether the student needs information on performance appraisals or operations design, BSN gives access to a fully up-to- date library with the most recent journals and management reviews. It contains more than 2500 journals and magazines.

MBA Advantages

Students spend 40% of their study time at their organisation, working on relevant projects. As they learn, they experience the exciting changes taking place around them and so will those that they work with and for.

Learning is not limited to experiences at their own company. All students act as consultants for their fellow students. Helping others solve business problems and challenges is part of an Action Learning MBA and has educational value. Should an impasse occur, our faculty and advisors are available to help put the project back on track.

This means organisations with participating managers will receive implementable solutions to six key issues during the 24 month duration of the programme. All solutions are developed under guidance of our highly competent senior consultants. Once employers realise they are getting valuable input, a highly competent employee and fresh perspectives on their business, co-sponsoring tuition fees is seen as a sound business investment.

Action Learning MBA

A fundamental part of Action Learning is the interaction that takes place in small groups of 4-6 students. Group members meet on a regular basis to engage in real-life problem solving. They contribute to this process with knowledge obtained during workshops, suggestions based on their working experience and theories derived from individual research. Consequently they provide each other with strong support and perspectives. The workshops and diversity of students ensure exposure to a wide range of innovative solutions to real-life organisational situations.

Where the student of a traditional MBA studies structure and content of established textbooks, the Action Learner uses these books merely as reference. The courseware of the Action Learning MBA comprises the latest subjects, covered by up-to-date articles and developed by international experts.

This not only generates an inspiring platform for the workshops, but also ensures high-quality study material as close to “new think” as possible.
