Business School Netherlands (BSN) has become the first European affiliate

of the World Institute for Action Learning (WIAL) in March 2009

A simultaneous Action Learning event took place in the head office campus of Business School Netherlands in Buren, the Netherlands. Professor Michael Marquardt, WIAL founder, Professor at George Washington University and author of numerous books and articles on action learning and a man who worked closely with the father of action learning, Prof. Reg Revans, presented and oversaw the proceedings. The event consisted of a foundation course in Action Learning coaching. This was followed by the first two, of a four day course required to become a CALC (certified action learning coach). The certification days were attended by BSN professionals, faculty members and invited stakeholders.

These steps signal BSN's intent to excel even further as a rigorous practitioner of this powerful learning method by enlarging and improving internal action learning practice in order to enable managers and leaders in their development towards success within their organisations.
Further planned Action Learning events including executive courses on Action Learning as an improvement tool, conferences and various symposia will soon be announced as part of BSN’s groundbreaking affiliation with WIAL

This two day summit coordinated by “Corporate Africa” will provide a dynamic platform for potential development partners to explore opportunities for developing Africa’s infrastructure. The conference aims to engage delegates towards a targeted approach of resource allocation aimed at poverty reduction and individual empowerment across the African continent, through a series of plenary meetings, workshops and networking opportunities.
