The MDP provides students with a wide-ranging insight into various core managerial fields, covering the broad spectrum of management disciplines from the MBA programme. It also provides middle management with a broadened scope, a significantly increased managerial insight and a solid conceptual framework.

Management Development Programme Outline

As the business environment continually changes, organisations need to stay ahead of these changes. If organisations do not learn faster than the prevailing rate of change, their survival can be jeopardised! This understanding has led to the concept of the “learning organisation”, which can be summarised quite simply as the ability to learn from the past, to apply what has been learned in the present and to think ahead into the future always combining explicit and tacit knowledge of the particular organisation.

Structure and Start Dates

Following a discussion with the HR or Training and Development team within your organisation regarding specific training and development requirements, we can start a Management Development Programme set as soon as you require.

The Management Development Programme requires the student participate in 21 workshop days and submit 10 Action Learning project reports delivered over 6 months.

Outcome
Certificate in Management Development

The Management Development Programme can be taken in combination with the Skills Development Programme to provide the Certificate in Management.
