Buren
An Inspirational Environment Encourages Inspirational Thought
An inspiring environment has a catalysing effect on the development of new ideas, conducting brainstorm sessions and exchanging knowledge. There is a reason why Business School Netherlands has opted to reside in the small town of Buren within the beautiful setting of the Betuwe. Surrounded by fruit trees and pastures, Buren and its medieval town centre offer you a peaceful study environment. At our location, far away from the business parks, open-plan offices and tarmac, you will experience the joy of working with likeminded people within the town walls of Buren. Use your breaks to discover the beauty of our town and to follow your programme revitalised.
Whether you are following one of our locally delivered programmes or you are visiting us as an International student, we offer you all the warmest welcome!
A Royal Education
Buren is more than 600 years old. When arriving by car, you can see the medieval town walls, the embankments and historic buildings straight away. Buren likes to be associated with the title ‘Oranjestad’, as Willem van Oranje married Anna van Egmond here in 1551. Our Queen still carries the title Countess van Buren.
Our town offers the magnificent Sint Lambertus church with its splendid tower, the weigh house, the town gate with gate building and the mill. However, the castle park, the orphanage, various museums, the synagogue, the quirky shops and local restaurants are certainly also worth visiting.
