Dick Gerdzen Foundation
Due to the International nature and succes of this programme, the Dick Gerdzen Foundation has made 120 subsidies available for applicants for 2012.
To be eligible for an scholarship from the Dick Gerdzen Foundation, candidates need to be admitted to the International Action Learning MBA programme.
For non-native English speakers a TOEFL or IELTS language test is required. The minimum pass mark for TOEFL is 79 and IELTS 6.0. Exemptions can be considered should you have succesfully completed your BA degree in the English language.
Prior to the application to the Dick Gerdzen Foundation, the applicant should first be accepted, and therefore comply with the requirements set by Business School Netherlands for the International Action Learning MBA.

Who can apply?
Mid-career professionals in employment
- Only the individual applicant can apply for funding
- The training must occur within the context of the organisation with which the applicant works
- The training must be seen to help the organisation in its development strategies
- Employer support is essential
Target group
While fellowships are awarded to individuals, the need for training must occur within the context of the organization for which an applicant works. The training must help the organization to develop its capacity. This means that applicants must be nominated by their employers. In fact, an application without the support of an employer will not be considered.
Priorities
The available funding from the Dick Gerdzen Foundation budget should be spent on scholarships for candidates from deprived groups and/or from marginalized regions.
The main aim of the Dick Gerdzen Foundation is to contribute to sustainable development in third world countries in education, health and other industries.
This will be achieved by making managers familiar with the Action Learning methodology, the Foundation supplies knowledge and know-how for more effective development within organisations.
This can be for management in non -profit organisations, government institutions as well as the private sector.
