Tutor Human Resource Management

Lee Kingma was awarded a Doctorate in Human Resources Management from the Cape Peninsular University of Technology in 2008. The topic of her research thesis was Utilising a Personality Typology in resolving Subliminal Conflict in the Workplace. She completed the Associate Executive Coaching Programme through the Graduate School of Business in Cape Town in 2006. She holds a Master of Business Administration from Business School Netherlands, which she obtained in 2002. Her further qualifications are a Post Graduate Diploma in Industrial Relations from the Stellenbosch Graduate School of Business and a Personnel Management Diploma.

Dr Kingma is currently employed as Human Resources Manager for Juta, a medium sized publishing house. Her expertise lies in the areas of Human Resources alignment with Business Strategies, Retention Strategies for Knowledge Workers, Executive Coaching, Performance and Change Management, Action Learning, Labour Relations and Cultural Diversity Management.

She currently lectures part-time to Human Resources students studying towards a degree in business administration. She has many years of experience in facilitating and optimising adult pedagogical outcomes.

Dr Kingma has travelled widely in Africa, Europe, the East and the USA. She is currently authoring a book, based on her thesis, for the general trade readership.
