Nuffic postpones awarding of NFP Bursary
Nuffic has indicated that it has postponed the deadline of the Netherlands Fellowship Programme bursaries to 1st January 2010, due to administrational backlog of some Dutch Institutions.
Netherlands Fellowship Programme Bursary award postponed
The International MBA was officially approved for inclusion into the Netherlands Fellowship Programmes (NFP) for 2010. The funding is made available through Nuffic, the Governmental body responsible for the promotion of the Dutch Higher Education system worldwide in August 2009.
The response on this inclusion has been overwhelming. For the start of the International MBA in February 2010 there are in excess of 50 accepted applicants awaiting feedback as to whether they have been successful in being afforded a 100% bursary through the Netherlands Fellowship Programme.
New date Bursary Award
The submission deadline for applicants to the embassy was 1st October 2009, the embassies have submitted the applications to Nuffic before 1st November 2009. Unfortunately, due to a backlog in the administrative procedure in some Dutch institutions, Nuffic has indicated the postponement of the awarding of the Netherlands Fellowship Programme grants until 1st January 2010.
Applicants for the NFP can rest assured that Business School Netherlands is as eager as they are to received the final decision for the bursaries. For further details on this or any other queries related to this matter please visit the Nuffic site or contact international@bsn.eu
