The SDP is offered as management training programme combining 17 workshop days with  organisational projects.  The programme can be tailored to your organisational requirements.

SDP Structure

1. Action Learning and Learning to Learn
2. Multicultural Integration
3. Personal Effectiveness and Motivation
4. Situational Leadership
5. Stress Management
6. Team Building
7. Training Interpersonal Skills - comprising of twelve key areas

The Skills Development Programme can be delivered in two formats:
1. Continuous workshops over 17 days, with Action Learning Projects to follow.
2. In a block format spaced over approximately 6 months.

SDP Student Profile

The Skills Development Programme is specifically designed for managers who want to greatly enhance their managerial effectiveness by improving their leadership behaviour, professional conduct and their interpersonal skills.
 
Be in a management OR supervisory position.

Have demonstrated competence in verbal, oral and written communication in English.

Hold a High School Diploma or equivalent.

The Skill Development Programme is delivered in the English language.

SDP Application Procedure

Following a discussion with the HR or Training and Development team within your organisation regarding specific training and development requirements, we can start a Skills Development Programme set as soon as you require.

The Skills Development Programme requires the student participate in 17 workshop days and submit 7 Action Learning project reports.

Outcome

Certificate in Skills Development

The Skills Development Programme can be taken in combination with the Management Development Programme to provide the Certificate in Management.
