Dr. Barteld Jan Willem Pennink 

Besides lecturing in the regular program of business administration, he also contributes to MBA programs and courses for PhD students in business administration.

During 1991-2003 he was involved in the project between the University of Ouagadougou (Burkina Faso) and the University of Groningen (The Netherlands). His research, leading to his doctoral thesis, focuses on the way managers cooperate in teams, how they cope with different perceptions about a similar management topic and how they cope with diversity in management teams. Beside this main focus, he is interested in African management and business research methodology. Since January 2006 he is coordinator of a project between the Institute of Finance Management in Dar es Salaam (Tanzania) and the University of Groningen.
